KunstFest HalloWeen
KunstFest HalloWeen (vol. 4)
We repeat last year’s success: KunstFest HalloWeen is the party for curious, free spirits and art lovers! This year’s dress code and theme: Punk is not dead!
With the concept KunstFest, ØIT invites you to several different art experiences in one evening. KunstFest HalloWeen is curated by T.I.T.S. performance group and Nela Kornetová, who is also hosting the evening.
What is KunstFest HalloWeen?
You can look forward to an entertaining evening full of surprises: DJs, dance floor, performance, performances, limbo and open bar! At KunstFest HalloWeen, everyone is welcome to let their inner weirdos come out: Wear your costume and get half-price admission!
The kings, queens and unicorns of the night will celebrate love, death and otherness in all kinds of art forms, united in joyful coexistence! Throughout the evening, you will be able to experience several short performances and features from the participating artists.
As part of KunstFest HalloWeen, we are also proud to present Karawane’s performance Labyrint.

Karawane: Labyrint
The first performance of the evening is the company Karawane’s production Labyrint: A poetic, musical odyssey through a landscape where the state of exception har become the new normal.
The labyrinth as site, condition, process of cognition and image of the world forms the starting point for Karawane’s project, Labyrint.
Karawane was formed by Anette Röde Hagnell and Chris Erichsen in the spring of 2019. It grew out of a musical collaboration that has gained an increasingly visual expression and a scenic collaboration that has gained an increasingly musical expression.
Karawane is a nomadic project that forms new alliances at each stop. In Labyrint, they enter a powerful visual universe in collaboration with visual artist Sigvei Ringvold. Ringvold’s work is about decomposition as a prerequisite for new creation: Traces of human actions and nature’s growth are combined with found objects, utility items and waste from our high-tech culture. These are brought into a dark room where we discover them anew, in a different light.
In this space, Anette Röde Hagnell moves – further and further into the labyrinth. Through poetic visualizations in her texts, she enters the darkness. We are drawn into a stream of thought performed with expressive vocals, enveloped by the soundscapes and music of Chris Erichsen and Snorre Sjønøst Henriksen.
