Experience Panta Rei Danserteater and Østfold dansekompani for ungdom in the Fredrikstad version of Oslofjorden danser; an urban dance performance in the town centre! The performance takes place on 10. June 2023.

Oslofjorden danser is a series of walking performances along and near the Oslofjord. On 10. June 2023, the performance comes to Fredrikstad in a spectacular, urban variant – starring both professional dancers and local performers! The audience will be taken on a leisurely walk that contains several “stations” with different choreographies.

Østfold dansekompani for ungdom and several other local actors will be seen in the walking performance, which is produced by Panta Rei Danseteater in close collaboration with Østfold International Theater and Dansekunst in Østfold.

By staging well-known places in new and surprising ways, both Panta Rei and ØIT want to give the audience good experiences and new perspectives. Together with renowned choreographers from the Norwegian and international dance field, the participants in Oslofjorden danser will create beautiful and thought-provoking moments of dance art in your local environment!

Practical information:

The audience will be given two possible starting points:
Rebelhuset, Trosvikstranda 9, Fredrikstad
Bjølstadjordet (by Båthusteateret), Kråkerøy
Select your desired starting point when buying your ticket.

The hike is a total of 2.5 – 3 km. We move at a leisurely pace, and there will be stops at various “stations” along the route. Get in touch if you need arrangements for prams, wheelchairs, etc.!

Join the premiere party!

After the performance, the audience is invited to join the premiere party at Rebellhuset!
