Free coloring book from Fredrikstad!
Now you can put color to people’s ideas for the future of Fredrikstad! Copies of the free coloring book with illustrations made by artists in In Search of Democracy 3.0 can be picked up at Fredrikstad kino and Rebellhuset.
What will Fredrikstad look like in the future? What do the people who live there want for their city?
From 2021 to 2023, Østfold International Theatre and a team of professional illustrators have run the art project In Search of Democracy 3.0, in Fredrikstad, based on a concept by the Dutch company New Heroes.
We’ve asked people in Fredrikstad and illustrated their answers to a simple question:
“What do you miss in your city?”
Now, you can see then all in this free coloring book.
The book contains all the drawings from the project, which you or your children can color. You’ll also find tips and advice on how you yourself can help shape the future of your hometown or local democracy, as well as several articles about the project and art as participation.
