Happy holidays!

Østfold Internasjonale Teaters’s office is closed from June 24 to July 26. We wish everyone a wonderful summer and welcome back for an exciting autumn program!

Some of the theater’s employees are also working in the last week of June, but we would all like to thank you for a fabulous spring season 2024!

At Øra you can visit Johannes Bellinkx and Sjoerd Leijtens Watchtower throughout the summer! The new art and culture festival §112 Fredrikstad also has lots of exciting things happening this summer – check out the program at paragraf112.no!

We’re already looking forward to the fall, including these highlights:

August and September

De Utvalgte and Motorpsycho’s performance Det Siste Værste was sold out at the beginning of June! We are looking at the possibility of increasing the seating capacity somewhat. Any new tickets will be put out for sale in August!

There will also be several rounds of the acclaimed The Reception – and, hurrah, on September 13, Kulturnatt Fredrikstad is back! Here you can experience the outdoor performance Korn by Tiril Pharo Productions – completely free! Book your seat now!

Nana Francisca Schottländer will be with us from August 29 all the way to September 26 with hauntingly beautiful images and physical demonstrations of Material Displacements.

October to December

In October, we invite you to a touching theate experience – literally: Liv Kristin Holmberg and Hanna Barfod’s sensuous Hudriket.

Not least, there will be a new world premiere with the audience successes Særp Tropez! The second performance in the trilogy will take place in the old Sarpsborg Pap- og Papirindustri AS – better known as “Pappen”. In addition, we offer a Norwegian premiere: The Norwegian version of In Search of Democracy 3.0 will go on a school tour through DKS Østfold!

Feel free to subscribe to our newsletter and/or follow Østfold International Theatre (@oiteater) on Facebook and Instagram, so you will be updated on all our productions!

Have a great summer!
