When was the last time you were touched by a performance – literally? Hudriket (Skindom) is a performing arts work for the skin and the sense of touch, rearrangeing your sensory hierarchy.
October 18th at 18:00
October 19th at 14:00 and 18:00
Østfold Internasjonale Teater, Dokka 3a, Fredrikstad
Doors open one hour before the performance. The bar is open.
Touching and being touched is crucial to our lives, but in our society we touch phones more than we touch each other. What does that do to us as people and as a community?
In Hudriket (Skindom), you are gently led into a space where all the senses are stimulated with sound, smell and touch. The hierarchy of senses is rearranged – perhaps you find that it is your skin that you “see” with?
Liv Kristin Holmberg and Hanna Barfod have immersed themselves in practices of touch and looked at how these can create a connection between people. Based on their findings, they have created Hudriket/Skindom. Join us for a truly unique experience!
Reviews
«Hudriket/Skindom” is a dream come true for anyone who likes to be touched, an unparalleled art cure in my experience, a tactile awakening of drowsy senses.»
Berit Einemo Frøysland, Norsk Shakespearetidsskrift
«When it crackles right next to my ears, I become aware that I also have skin inside my ears and that this surface is brushed by the sound waves. Holmberg and Barfod’s “Hudriket/Skindom” touches all the way into my head.»
Annette Therese Pettersen, Scenekunst.no
