Welcome to FrokostPrat, an informal breakfast chat with Tony Tran.

Tony Tran from Østfold is a Norwegian performing artists who has extended his workplace to include several continents. In FrokostPrat he will share his experiences as well as tips on networking and building an international career.

We include your breakfast and coffee – what’s not to love?

FrokostPrat takes place from 9 am to 10 am in our premises in Dokka 3 a on Værste / Kråkerøy. The event is free, but due to the limited number of places, registration is required.

For those who want to join in, there will be yoga with Henriette Slorer afterwards, from 10: 30-12:00 in the neighboring building at Kulturskolen. (Bring your own mat and come in soft clothes, since our wardrobes are closed.)

The world is your stage

In recent decades, Norwegian performing artists have increasingly turned their attention to the international market. International touring and collaboration requires production expertise, contacts and insight into various cultural, practical and economic aspects of art production.

This breakfast talk aims to provide a deeper insight into working internationally as a producing performing artist.

Tony will talk about his experience of establishing an international network, as well as all the opportunities this can give you as a performing artist.

He will also talk about the current situation, challenges and needs both nationally and internationally.

About Tony Tran         

Tony Tran is a graduate of the Oslo Academy of the Arts and the School of Modern Dance in Copenhagen. He has produced several performances in which he participates as both choreographer and dancer.

He has collaborated with a number of international partners, touring both nationally and abroad. Through his international work, he has built up a broad network, presenting his work in a.o. Oslo (Black Box Theater), Sweden (Dansens Hus Stockholm), Greenland (Nuuk Nordic Festival), Finland (Aland Museum of Fine Arts), Italy ( Operaestate Festival Veneto), South Korea (Seoul International Dance Festival) etc. He holds a seat in the professional committee for stage arts in Fond for lyd og bilde from 2020-2022.
