IN SITU PLATFORM (2025-2028) is a four-year program aiming to support 200 emerging artists working in public space and unconventional venues.
The program is a collaboration between the 24 partners in the IN SITU network. We aim to give the selected artists the opportunity to produce and show their work in Europe, and to contribute to the development of international networks and art in public spaces.
As an artist, you can apply for the Platform program, which will develope through three successive one-and-a-half-year cycles.
How to apply
The selection of artists is based on application.
The first application deadline is January 31, 2025 at 12:00.

Two phases
Each program cycle will consist of two phases:
– Learning & discovering
– Producing & presenting
This first Open call targets around 60 emerging artists.
In the first phase of the program they will get access to :
- Online content to learn about artistic production related to art in public space
- Peer-to-peer exchange with experienced IN SITU artists
- An immersive lab with networking opportunities
At the end of the first phase, the IN SITU partners will make a new selection among the participants. 10 of the 60 artistic projects will get the opportunity to participate in the second phase of the PLATFORM program.
In the second phase of each program cycle, 10 selected projects will receive further support through
- a tailored program of residencies and dissemination opportunities
- production grants (not full funding)
- participation in a seminar (IN SITU FOCUS) arranged at an international festival or event in Spain, Kosovo or Austria
- a chance to meet international programmers and possible touring opportunities
